With decades of hands-on experience in animal training and on-set work, Luke leads Union Pictures with a practical, deeply knowledgeable approach to working with animals in production environments.
Specialising in both trained performance animals and on-set handling, he has worked across feature films, international series, commercials, and digital productions - managing everything from large predators to highly controlled behavioural work for camera.
His experience allows productions to work confidently with animals, knowing that every detail - from preparation to execution - is handled professionally.
Luke’s focus is on reliability, safety, and ensuring that animal performance integrates seamlessly into the demands of a working set.

Established in 1987, the company has built a reputation for delivering trained animals that perform reliably under production conditions - from feature films and international series to high-end commercials and editorial shoots.
We work across a wide range of species, including wild, exotic, and domestic animals, all prepared and managed specifically for on-set environments.
Our approach is hands-on and highly controlled. Every animal supplied is either trained in-house or managed directly by our team, ensuring consistency, safety, and professional handling at all times.
If a production requires a specific animal not currently in our working group, we are able to source and coordinate accordingly.
